Year 2018-2021 Assembly is a generative body of sculptural ceramic vessels. Each piece is titled with alphabetical names following pipe standards, suggesting a component of an assembly — one that is undefinable, obscure, and expansive. Slip-cast from modular molds made with PVC pipe fittings, the modularity developed for efficiency works against its original purpose, producing objects of ambiguous function.
